When Was Your Last Dental Exam and Cleaning?

Posted .

It’s incredible the medical advances the world has conquered in the past 100 years. Dentistry has especially taken strides in the past 50 years with treatments and daily dental care. Before, oral healthcare had a vast amount of limitations due to the lack of equipment and knowledge on the best care for our smiles. Dental care back then was limited to post-care where your dentist could only do so much after infections had taken place.

Here at Bray Dental, we strive to give your teeth the dental care and information it deserves for a lasting smile. Even though you may be persistent in your daily brushing and flossing, and even using mouth rinse, you still need to see your dentist for an exam at least twice a year. This exam includes an assessment of your oral health and thorough cleaning. We do a removal of plaque buildup, application of fluoride, and give you tips on how to better tend to your teeth.

Some people need to come to our dental office more than twice a year, sometimes every other month if they are at a higher risk for dental disease. If you smoke, are pregnant, diabetic, have a weak immune system, or vulnerable to cavities/infections or gum disease, you will need to see your dentist more often as prescribed.

Dr. Bryce Bray and our dental team here in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, want to give you the best, up-to-date services for your oral health care. Schedule an appointment or even a consultation by calling 218-681-3233 today!
