Meet Our Staff

Dr. Bray completed his Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from Andrews University & his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Loma Linda University in 1983. He is an active member of the ADA, MDA, Spear Study Club, Academy of General Dentistry, taking regular continuing education courses & implementing some of the latest dental technologies such as extensive implant dentistry education & other complex restorative & aesthetic cases.

Dr.Bray loves being able to provide people with quality, compassionate dental care which not only improves their oral health but also their self-esteem. As you will experience, Dr. Bray’s confident, fun manner brings joy & ease to his patients. He feels privileged to have worked with several of his team members for over 20+ years & to know he provides quality dental care to multiple generations of local families.

Dr.Bray loves & enjoys spending time with his 4 grown kids, their spouses & total of 8 grandchildren so far… When not working or attending education training, he spends time with his family at the lake. He enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, playing golf & dabbles in photography.

Shawn has been a registered Dental Assistant for 34 years & has worked with Dr. Bray for 33 of those years. Over the 30-plus years, she has enjoyed & cherished the many wonderful relationships she has formed with the patients. She also feels very blessed to work with such a great dental team/family. Shawn spends her free time with her family: husband Jerry, daughter & son-in-law, along with her special loves grandson Benny & grand puppy Eloise. Shawn likes to spend time reading, going for walks, & playing with Benny.

Jeanine has been a Dental Hygienist for 26 years graduating from Lake Superior College in Duluth while getting her hygiene degree she spent 2 years as a Dental Assistant, she received that degree from Hibbing Tech College. Jeanine was born & raised in the Duluth area &joined Dr. Bray’s team in 2006 & enjoys forming relationships with her long-time patients & feels blessed to meet new patients daily. Jeanine is the mother two beautiful daughters 21 & 18. She enjoys spending time with friends, being outdoors, gardening, exercising, scrapbooking & being with her family.

Joanie has worked in the dental industry for the past 3 years in the Thief River Falls area & joined the Bray Dental team/family this year working as one of receptionists. Joanie was born & raised in the Red Lake Falls area & lives with family in the Plummer/Brooks area on their farm. She & her husband Patrick have 4 wonderful daughters & they are the most important piece of her life; she is very proud to be the mother of these young ladies. Joanie enjoys the outdoors & all that it offers from hunting, fishing, riding horses, motorcycling & so much more. Her favorite past time is reading a good book while cuddled up with her dogs.

Maria attended North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton & graduated with her Dental Hygiene degree in 1996. She started working for Dr. Bray as a Hygienist right after college & continues to provide care for her long-time patients & the new ones she meets every day. Maria’s favorite part of her job is meeting & making relationships with her patients. Maria & her husband along with their daughter enjoy caring for their horses, other animals & being with family. She likes to read, assist her husband with photography & she home schools their daughter as well.

Maija has been in the dental field for 25 years, working as a dental assistant in practices in MN & ND before coming to the Bray Dental team/family 6 years ago. Maija & her husband Joey have 5 great kids (3 girls & 2 boys). They are also the very proud grandparents of two wonderful grandkids (1 girl & 1 boy). Maija spends her free time at the lake with her family, enjoying time with friends & making memories with her grandkids.

Amy has spent the past 12 years working for Dental practice’s in the TRF area and in Oklahoma. She has worked many aspects of the day to day running of an office, she’s been an office manager,receptionist and Medical & Dental billing staff person. She has just recently joined the Bray Dental team/family at our front desk & in Medical Billing. Amy enjoys spending time with her family which include her husband, kids & mother. She spends her time cooking, baking, reading & most of all being outside on her farm as much as possible.

Years with Dr. Bray: 1 month

Kelly has just completed Dental Hygiene School at Moorhead State graduating this past May & joining the Bray Dental team/family as her first Dental Hygiene job. Kelly is from Red Lake Falls born & raised; she enjoys spending time with friends & family in her spare time. Kelly is also an avid outdoors woman enjoying hunting, fishing & really any outdoor activity.
